does the grade cut change for second semester freshman or sophomores rushing?

Yep! College GPA cut offs are quite a bit lower than hs cutoffs. 3.5 would be good enough for any sorority, my guess is that 2.8 is acceptable for those with lower cutoffs, around 3.2 is pretty safe all around.

Thank you :) I got around a 3.2 do you think that works for Alpha Chi and SK? Maybe KKG too?

If they like everything else about you I think you'd be ok. Your average AXO last year had a 3.3, KKG had a 3.4 and SK was 3.2. Judging on that the 3.2 is only slightly below their average and bang on for SK so I wouldn't think it'd rule you out if you're otherwise a great pnm. Can't say for sure though, in college GPA cutoffs are a lot less known than hs ones! Good luck!!
