I mean TBH I did recognize a few adpi's and theta's at a few of the B4 events in sept and while I can't vouch for the other 3, yall certainly weren't there during the offer meeting at my office :(

I sincerely doubt that someone who uses the word "anyways" has success written all over her. Way to sound like a rube from the bootheel, hon.

Guess what?

Grades DO count when you are a hiring manager, along with having good social/networking skills. So don't assume one is better or more highly desired than the other, out in the business world.

And for those women who are going to graduate level programs, or those planning to get into med or law school - grades are VERY important.

So don't discount those houses or Greek women who do strive for good grades.

Of course grades are important. The only people who don't think so are those who don't have good grades. So save your energy because only a loser would come on this site and say grades don't matter.

They absolutely do matter however, you need to be stellar to stand out to an employer (and of course grad school.) ADPi's 3.5 vs APhi's 3.3 will put them in the same category, 3.5 just is not good enough to make you shine, aim for 3.7 MIN. After that it's based on networking and social skills, employers, even (especially) the elite big 4, want you to be charming and be the right fit for the team. Don't get me wrong everyone should be striving for that 4.0 but if you just can't achieve it then work on networking because 1) it'll help you land a job amongst the average applicant and 2) once you get a job, your gpa is not longer in question it'll be up to your networking abilities (and work ethic.)
