gpa requirements

So i have a 3.1 GPA at the moment. I know that 3.6 is like the recommendation and some houses cut at 3.5.
What houses should i stay away from and what houses should i put more effort into getting a bid at?
I have friends in chi o but I'm sure the GPA will screw me there.
I like some girls at a phi, g phi, zeta, and sigma but i don't know them well enough for them to vouch for me.
So any advice?

That recommendation is based on high school GPA as far as college goes you should be fine especially since the houses you listed are on the bottom of the grade report each year. GPhi and APhi are the hard to get bids from as a complete stranger, but Zeta and Sigma seem to be willing to give girls who don't have connections a chance

If you are pretty , you will get a bid from aphi or zeta, without knowing anyone. despite what these boards will say, zeta has a higher cut off than aphi-aphi is the last resort-only because they have no cut off for grades when other houses do.
gphi, it used to be that way, but they raised their cut off ridiculously high from what it used to be, but they take many girls that know no one in the house if you make the cut with grades and activites.
sigma has become more selective-but they will not take a low gpa-they def stick with the suggested cut off
