Thanks Alpha Phi, but most people think you are bottom tier because of your lousy grades and retention. Those who are generous will put you at the bottom of the middle tier. And any list that has Theta and Chi O below Alpha Phi was written by someone who's tripping.

You naive little girl, the most powerful women on this planet didn't get to where they are from pretty faces, busy weekend schedules and tons of Instagram likes. They earned success through ambition, intelligence and fiereceness. So enjoy while you can, the facade you hold that for even one second after you graduate from this university the popularity you have gained will matter. Life is going to be very tough for you if you can't process the fact that popularity is irrelevant after college unless you're an important public figure that can capitalize on it.

lol can't wait until you get a dose of reality after college. Your coworkers wanting to get drinks with you during happy hour after work will never get you a promotion, but wait you said popularity is the key to success right? While you pointlessly aim to have people think you're important I'll be working my butt off and breaking right through the glass ceiling and probably making a significantly higher income than you while you're bottomfeeding in your mediocrity. She makes it sound like being hired by a big Four firm is prestigious. does she know how desperate they are for new employees? is she aware that within three years 70% of those who started at the firm with her will be gone because they are burned out? does she know that personality and networking has absolutely nothing to do with getting ahead in a big Four firm? There is a checklist of standards and if you meet them, you get promoted. The thing is, by the time you real "senior" or "manager" standing you have no life whatsoever because you are working 70 hours a week in back rooms with no windows with people who are just as boring as you. But, hey, it's probably the best she could do with that stellar personality of hers. And, ANYWAYS, as an Alpha Phi she's not exactly the type to aim high.

The big 4 is extremely prestigious and the highest achievement someone in my major could attain (and as the most selective major at mizzou that's saying a lot.) The money I make as an intern beats the sad entry level $ per hour you'll be making with your little social science degree. Why don't you make up your mind, first we get harassed for not working hard enough now you're chirping me for working for a firm that works 70 hours a week and how I "won't have a life." I've been with them for 2 years and I LOVE the intensity, does it not occur to you that some people strive to be that involved in their careers? Any biomed major would agree, the long hours we'll be working is a privilege not a punishment. And on the note of them being "desperate" for new students, please go ahead and ask the many many manyyyy accounting majors that were pulling teeth for my position and got declined. Starting to think this girl^ is one of them cause you sure did reach trying to find any little insult you could find about the most selective and elite group of employers in the nation, after Wall Street. Don't worry I'm sure your job at H&R block will be reaaaally fulfilling. I'll be sure to think of you preparing income tax returns with the middle class (or better yet, admin assistant for the local bread shop) while I travel the country clinking glasses with clients such mayors across the states, major banks, roylls Royce, etc ;) I hope I don't get too bored!!

I am an accounting major. I have had an internship with PWC and have a job offer from them in hand. I will start my career there because that's what accountants do. But I know NO accounting major who thinks it is prestigious or a final career landing spot. It is merely an entry level job that looks good on a resume. I haven't even started and I can't wait to go on to my next job. But, hey, if you think it's the holy grail, good for you.

Here's how I know you didnt get hired by a b4: 1) you were caught in a lie, first you claim you were an intern and then you claim "you haven't started to work there yet" woops, I bet you didn't even get into Trulaske either 2) I've been interning there for 2 summers, then again you interned without working there so perhaps that explains how I never met another sorority girl (FYI they have a very small pool of new hires, i know each one, if you actually worked at pwc you would know this) 3) I gossip with a senior who is a Theta alum regularly, we know who's in what house across all the b4s especially our own (good try though) 4) you claim you have an offer in hand but offers expired months ago, so much for that 5) anyone who actually works at the b4, especially pwc, knows how VERY prestigious it is - from the travel, to our clients, to the parties we throw, b4 does it up like Wall Street brokers. But I mean really reason #1 is enough, maybe you should proofread your posts next time. PS: it's cute how you brag about getting an offer from a company that's "desperate" and "not at all prestigious." I am sure that's why you felt the need to lie about it ;)

What the fu ck are you talking about? You are a sicko. First you insist you know my GPA, even though I've never posted it in the three times I have commented on this site. Then you insist you know about my siblings (except I am an only child). Then you are certain I must be lying because you don't know me. Well, I don't think I know anyone from the St. Louis or K.C. PWC offices just as you probably don't know any people where I had my PWC internship in my hometown (out of state). Yes, I interned there. Yes, I got a job offer. Yes, I will be starting there after graduation. No, I won't be stating the city because I don't want to out myself. And, yes, I can't wait to leave as soon as I can. As I said, it's something I need to have on my resume. But there is no prestige to the job. You really need to expand your horizons, sweetie. There is more to this world than lil old Missouri. And maybe go outside and get some sunshine instead of memorizing and speculating and making this site your entire life.

This is a new low, even by Green Rank standards. To the woman who is trying desperately to convince us she works at a Big 4 accounting firm: you are the stupidest person ever on this site. This is how it works, and if you were familiar with the process you would know: 1) you're an accounting major who gets decent grades 2) you get multiple internship offers and take the one you want from a Big 4 firm. In my case, I took the PWC internship offer because I live in a different state and could save money by living at home while interning at PWC. 3) you do well during your internship and you get a job offer. 4) you accept the job offer 5) you start your job after you graduate. In my case it will be in June 6) you do all the grunt work that first years are expected to do. That includes conducting audits with your peers in dark little rooms at the headquarters of major companies 7) you pass the CPA exam 8) later, usually on your anniversary date you get your first promotion (because everyone does unless you screw up) 9) you start to think that you would like an actual life so you decide if, now that you have passed the CPA exam, you want to leave public accounting now or wait until another promotion. Most wait for that second promotion, but not all. But by the end of 3 years 70% of the people you started with will have gone on to better job. There is no prestige in being a Big 4 accountant, and the longer you stay the more it means your job offers in the 2&3 years weren't up to par.

People typically move on from the b4 in 4-5 years, certainly after one gets promoted to senior, preferably manager as it opens up better job opps. But you're right I supposed at h&r block people likely do move on in one year, hell I'd be running out of there as fast as possible if I were you too :) PS: see you at the next pwc social at mizzou, it'll be so nice to finally meet another Greek lady working for us!!! First you pretend to have my life (dream on) now you pretend to be an random bystander because you just HAD to reply but you couldn't respond as "yourself" (aka pwc wannabe) because you couldn't answer my question about the rule of 32 as you're just another poor accounting student (with no social skills I might add) who couldn't make the cut for a job at the b4. PS: if you worked for pwc you'd know they hold socials and several meetings every academic year for our pwc crew across the NATION (yes that includes mizzou students working oos!) Also if you had gotten a job offer in October you'd know that the offer meeting was held at Mizzou for students across all the different offices (from Cali to the east coast, and every state in between,) but then again you interned without ever "working there" so obbbbviously you're a special case ;) just give up, your desperation to pretend your life resembles mine in any way just goes to show how sad and pathetic yours really is. What does everyone think of the mid tier houses? Kappa, AXO, DG, adpi, aphi?
Which house is best and why?

By: Mid
by: ^

My first priority when I rushed was having fun/social life and philanthropy. I respect a strong GPA but I knew a sorority would have no affect on my own and it therefore isn't really relevant to me in tiers.
1) AXO they're well rounded and quite strong in the social category, genuine girls
2) APhi very strong in the social category, really fun and sweet girls
3) Kappa - idk they're quite boring to me but they seem to have a lot of fun during comps, if you fit in with kappa you seem to really love it
4) DG - they're kinda blah, they know how to party, not my fave
5) ADPi - my least fave sorority, every one that I meet from ADPi is super aggressive, drama, have a stick up their ... their only claim to fame was their GPA and that's been slipping in recent years

You'd think sorority girls of all people would realize how insane it is to pretend to know a single thing about another sorority's sisterhood. Did you have enough knowledge to judge your own sisterhood before you became a member? Didn't think so. It's laughable

by: Sisterhood

While that's true, everyone hears about the houses that's have an exceptionally strong or weak sistershood. There has to be some truth to it. For instance, everyone has heard KD and AXO have some of the best sisterhoods around. You can see how close they are because they are always with each other and speaking highly about their time together. It's tight knit. And then there's the other side of the coin, we've all heard zeta has one of the worst sisterhoods. And that is easy to believe because of how the girls treat each other, how they talk negatively about each other, and their drop out rate.
So while we may not really "know" what a sisterhood is like, I think we all have at least an idea of what a chapter may be like.

By: Sisterhood

by: ^

I can't comment on zeta but it seems to me that any house known for rushing based on looks get accused of having a poor sisterhood when that's far from accurate. Houses like aphi and Gphi rush based on like minded girls (take care of their appearance, like to have fun, outgoing etc) and I can tell you both of those houses are extremely close/always by each other's sides, etc. You can't automatically judge a sisterhood just because you disagree with their recruitment strategies. I don't have any personal experience with Zetas not getting along either.
