should i move into the house next semester?
by: EeeekSo I am a sophomore in PC'16 and I really want to be able and look back someday and say I had the experience of living in my sorority house, but at the same time as an upperclassman next year I want the independence of my own living space and quite frankly having a bottle wine and watching the bachelor in the comfort of my home. I figured that if I live in house next semester i could get that experience, even if it is a shorter time. My apartment isn't close to campus and it would be nice to have the house meal plan always available. What would you guys do?

I say 100% do it. Even if it is only for a semester, the memories you make when living in the house will stick with you forever. You will never get another opportunity to live with 60+ of your best fiends... Trust me when I say that my sophomore year living in the house was one of the best years of my life. You won't regret it!

I personally did not live in my sorority house and I do not regret it one bit. For me it was more financial but I seriously don't regret it. It was something that I thought I would want to do and that I would miss out on a bunch of stuff if I didn't, and I don't! I'm still close to my pledge class and I have my own room and bathroom (which is a big bonus). I don't personally think that "it's what sorority is all about" because some colleges don't have houses/dorms. But like I said before it was more beneficial for me not to live in house, and I honestly thought I wouldn't get close to my sisters, but that is not the case because in between classes I go to the house and hang out. It is what you make of it.
