if i'm a legacy do i have an advantage in cob

by: Legacy

So I am zeta legacy. My grandma, mom, aunt, and older sister are all zetas from another zeta chapter in the SEC. I originally didn't sign up for recruitment because of the pressure my family put on me to continue on the tradition and I'm naturally rebellious. After 3 months of college I realize I made a bad choice and joining a sorority would 100% appeal to me. I met a couple of zetas I've gone out with and have hung out with mutual friends and I think they're cool and a little wild to say the least when it comes to going out. I think I would fit and enjoy my time there. Wish I was interested when they did COB earlier this semester but oh well. Do you think my legacy gives me a chance at a bid with them next semester. My grades are great, i'm confident in my looks, I'm extremely social, and I'm lucky enough to have gotten involvement through some clubs so far.

The best thing you can do is talk to zeta directly. Every house treats legacies differently. Some houses value legacies more than others.

Also, Zeta has already COBed once or twice this semester and I doubt they will COB until this spring.

Fake stories like these aren't even funny anymore over it

Hi! I'm a zeta and I was one of the COB's from this semester :) honestly, I would definitely send our recruitment chair an email and tell her you're interested! That's the #1 thing you can do to make your chances the best! Also, if it doesn't work out, there's always recruitment next year! A lot of sophomores go through it again with much better results so don't worry! I love hearing that you're interested in zeta and hope you reach out to the rc!
