the forgettable people in your pledge class
by: OhGranted, in every pledge class you have to popular standouts who everyone in your chapter is aware of, the people who are basically known if they're around enough, and the people who you forget about and wonder if they've dropped but you still somehow manage to see them from afar at chapter time to time and realize they live in the same house as you....... I'm aware everyone' interest in their sorority varies and people make other friends, but they are so many people I forget about in my chapter that I really wish I knew better.

The OP is probably the forgettable one. I can't imagine why she would start this thread. When you have a pledge class of 75 girls, you won't be besties with each and every one. But to categorize them as forgettable just because you haven't taken the time to get to know them? That's abhorrent.

Can't possibly get to know everyone well as pledges, but isn't that why we look forward to living in the house? I think it's awful that the OP already has written off a big part of her pledge class as "forgettable" when we've been members of the same organization for less than 3 months. that's pretty deplorable.

You're right. Those girls are probably looking across the room and thinking the same thing about her.
