He cannot say the same thing about the Legion of Black Collegians (LBC). Two of the officers responding documented hate speech and threats to burn down buildings originating from the members of the LBC.

I think that the LBC and others who have posted negative items on here recently about DU had this incident planned to smear this fraternity house.

I don 't get it. As soon as someone takes a step out to do what they want, and are ultimately doing what many are fighting and arguing for-they are called a 'sell out'. Not sure what everyone is arguing for then? Equal rights and opportunities? Does not seem this campus is denying any race anything. If we are talking about name calling, then lets be clear on that. Take a look through Mizzou's student life pages, there are minorities in leadership roles in pretty much every club. If I had to say a certain race was lacking opportunity on this campus I would say it is Hispanics. And I mean no disrespect to anyone by that-it's just something that's pretty obviously noticed.

It is documented what the officer heard and the hate speech he actually heard was coming from the lbc girl. Granted he wasn't there when the original altercation/exchange took place, it seems odd that one of the girls, in the report, states she 'believes' the n word was used. She believes and she actually heard are two separate things.
And in this day and age of taping everything, I am wondering why someone didn't tape this. The garbage cans were documented, but not the exchanges
Well, it will be interesting to see what the 2 officers cameras picked up-does anyone know if and when those will be released?

Why must the entire student body and the administration bend over backwards to appease a small percentage of minority students?
These jackasses will NEVER be happy, and the administration's and the student's efforts will NEVER be good enough!

How 'bout white AND black students stop using that word? Let's start there..shouldn't be ok for one race to use it and another race to be charged/suspended, etc when using it.
Let's all clean it up and have respect for each other.

DU was put on emergency suspension (before any due process) which prohibits their use of school spaces. Would the same apply to LBC?
