It's fairly uncommon that they would, and even if they did it would probably be more discrete and secretive because most houses still see participation in informal recruitment as a sign of weakness for their chapter.

Because quota was so low this year pretty much every house is doing some type of informal, but as ^ said, some have a few people in mind so it's kept quiet.
Honestly think every single house did/or is, although many will get on to argue that. Again, quota was so low this year, there's no reason for anyone to be dishonest about it.

Almost all the houses lose a few girls- didn't realize the cost, decide to leave the school, decide they don't like organized sorority life, think they are a bad fit, etc. Like 5% or less but it always happens. But as mentioned, most informal is discreet and involves friends of members or pledges.
