Can I reach out to a sorority, like Kappa Delta or Alpha Chi, and ask if they are doing COB and ask if I can be invited to some events...or does that not look good?

It's too early. I doubt you will get a response wit homecoming right around the corner. Try after homecoming. No one holds events in october

For which houses? If you've been contacted by zeta, SK, sigma, or phi mu, aka the bottom tier houses, then I wouldn't be surprised. They are most likely needing girls to fill their house. Mid tier houses like KD and AXO may have a couple spots open up at semester when girls transfer or study abroad.

You can contact them, but I doubt you will hear anything back because their house total is at chapter total. That is why most mid tier houses cannot COB until later.cthwy simply do not have room.

None of those houses are doing COB except zeta and tri sigma actually @Cob
