by: potentialI was recently contacted by a sorority and I was just wondering if that was how informal recruitment works? Will all the houses doing it contact me? I love all the houses and I am so happy I have already been contacted but I was just wondering if I will receive a list of all the houses or what?

It's really sketchy and no one knows exactly how it's done. You can sign up and be contacted by NO CHAPTERS at all or, I have heard of girls being contacted who didn't even sign up. My take is that until the process is more out in the open and supervised by PanHell, we can pretty much assume its blatantly discriminatory.

Please let us know if that happens, because in the past signing up has meant no guarantees that people will be contacted. And some houses just issue bids to friends of members without going through any official process at all. Truly, the COB situation is a black mark on Mizzou greek life.
