for those who did recruitment twice

I ended up dropping recruitment freshman year and rushing again this year and I am in a sorority this time around, yay. I'm wondering if it worked for other people in my situation, how was it second time around, did you have a change of heart, did you get your top pick or did you choose to find happiness wherever? So curious to know. Personally I needed a big attitude change this year. My first time around I had 3 chapters I only cared to join before rush even started and all was fine until I got cut from one after open house round and the other two before pref. I realized what I was missing out regardless of the chapter and even tried to do COB and that didn't work. I became more open the second time around and told myself home is wherever I can get a sisterhood and went with the flow. I actually went with my legacy house which I had cut the year before and couldn't have made a better
