opinion on theta?
by: muumuuHow does everyone feel about Kappa Alpha Theta? (I want to rush this house but I'm interested in knowing what everyone likes and dislikes about it)

My opinion of Theta is neutral. They are very strong academic wise, always top in grades, and do fairly well in competitions (not as much recently). My one negative against them is that they are somewhat boring, and uppity. Idk, that's just the vibe I have perceived from them. Granted, I do know some fun, outgoing Theta's just depends on who you know! Hope this helps :)

The thing about houses like Theta, PiPhi and ChiO is that they do the choosing and it is extremely difficult to get a bid. If or when you do, you are in a pledge class with other people who feel genuinely fortunate to be there, and going forward that makes a difference. It means the entire pledge class works hard to get good grades and keep the standards up and it means that the drop rate is REALLY low. So you know you will be friends throughout college because your sisters won't quit along the way like in some other sororities.

Theta = BORING! And most members are from towns of less than 300 people where they have one stopplight and a fun Friday night is hanging out at the local Dairy Queen or Dollar General.
