plans for long weekend

Lot's of girls go home so mommy can do their wash. What most people don't know is that this is a really fun weekend to stay in Columbia. Lots going on. So have fun because, after all, you probably haven't been home in three whole weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Labor Day weekend is one of my favorites in Columbia. There are fun things to do, especially after rush and the hectic start to the semester. It also gives me a chance to unwind and get organized. And my girls and I always plan some sort of one-day getaway, this year a short road trip to a winery. So, whatever, go home if you want. But increasingly my world is here, no matter what my mother wants.

Most people from STL and KC will be going home. Use this as an opportunity to make friends in your sorority if you haven't yet. I say this because out of state girls will likely be here this weekend and will want friends and company, who better than sisters in your pledge class. You probably have a pledge class groupme so maybe start making plans to meet and hangout with girls you haven't yet? Go to the house and watch movies together or go out to dinner!!
