which houses cob in the spring?

Depending on the house some will COB in the fall to level out the amount of members they need. Fall COB is literally the epitome of lowkey. I'm a junior and know of girls who got cut from recruitment the year I rushed who got contacted from middle tier sorority to rush them through COB. They'd probably take 5 girls max tbh. So if you didn't get a bid during this recruitment it definitely could not hurt you to inquire about COB for fall. I would just make sure your high school grades and resume are solid if you do. For any doubters, if you weren't aware of middle tier houses doing this, then they've achieved their goal because they probably didn't want the public to know.

Another tip pertaining to COB: it's about who you know. Sure grades and involvement are important, but chapter typically give bids in the spring to friends of the freshman pledge class. Yeah maybe a few girls will be given a bid with any previous exposure to that sorority, but those girls are huge stand outs. Make friends with the girls in your dorms in sororities, hang out with them and their sisters on the occasion, get them to invite you to socials. I promise you the girls whose faces are already familiar to that' chapter are the ones who get bids in spring
