by: PnmDoes Zeta usually COB?? I had nothing but great conversations there and always left soooooooo happy. Some of the girls even said they heard great things about me but I was dropped this morning. Does anyone know how likely it will be that they cob?! I hate to miss out on such fun events like bid day and this upcoming week but I love zeta so much it's hard for me to just join a sorority I don't think I fit into

Zeta usually COBs 2-3 times a year. They put on a great formal recruitment don't get me wrong, but this house has a terrible retention rate. They have a lot of trouble keeping members so they have to COB multiple times a year to stay near quota. There will be opportunities to COB this house if you are interested, but just know here is a reason they have to COB so often.

ZTA did not COB last year. Every house has retention rate issues with seniors. ZTA did not have retention problems last year. There were 3 or 4 who were asked to leave because they did not uphold the standards.

Poor "Me", Zeta totally COB'd last year, they always COB. Apparently they didn't return your message because you weren't what they were looking for. Consider yourself lucky and move on!

No I didn't drop because of one chapter. I dropped because the houses i got back i just didn't see myself there and didn't enjoy my time there. I couldn't see myself growing there and I didn't want to take that spot away from a girl that wanted to be there much more than I did.

Zeta didn't want you. They liked other people more than they liked you. They didn't want you to be their sister.
If you dropped out of recruitment you legitimately ruined your chance to be Greek. And over what? Superficial conversations during rush.
Seriously, though, better that you dropped. The houses you had left are better off without the likes of you.

Wait... Zeta cuts people?! Lol they're like one of the worst houses on campus! No offense to the PNMs that liked zeta but all actives know 1. Zeta lies to get PNMs to like them and 2. Theyve been bottom two forever when new houses like SK and phi mu past them in the "ranks" (don't you find that strange that an established house is STILL stuck in bottom tier??)

Not true. I waited last year to COB and they never did. I'm going through recruitment again this year and was fortunate enough to go back there this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed!
