legacies
by: CuriousDo sororities have different policies regarding cutting legacies? Just curious. I have heard of quite a few legacies being cut today. These girls were also legacies to that particular chapter.

Unfortunately every house here could fill an entire pledge class with legacies so yes they get cut just like everyone else. I have known a few houses that won't cut a legacy whose mom is still very active with the house. Some house do give a preference for an extra round or so but I know many girls in my year that were cut from their mothers house.

Some houses hold more value to legacies than others. I think most houses give you an invite back to the second round of you are a legacy unless the PNMs grades were too low.
I've known a triple Tri delt legacy that was cut with an active in the house. She was devastated. It's weird how houses make cuts but it's not always the PNMs fault. I've heard stories of PNMs getting cut because the chapter doesn't particularly like the active too
