by: pnmjust curious what everyones opinions were of the houses so far! no judgement, i just want to see what people are thinking!

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You and you alone can make this decision. You are the only person who knows what you want in a sorority and you are the only person who knows how comfortable you feel and how you will fit in. Please do not ask, and please do not try to answer this for someone else.

It goes so fast! Went to 8 houses- I definitely had a favorite 3- kind of a bottom three that I'm not sure I would fit in. But who knows what today will be like. None of the girls were awful. All were sweet. Happy to say I had no awkward silences.

Beware of falling into the "top tier" way of thinking - consider ALL of the houses with an open mind and heart.

What you see yesterday and today was fleeting glimpses. You'll learn more about the houses that ask you back as the week moves on.
Keep in mind that you'll want to choose a sorority house that will become your "home", and sisters who will become your "family" - and remember that who you want may change as recruitment proceeds.

PNMs - please remember that EVERY sorority house on the Mizzou campus is a QUALITY sorority!
You should be thrilled to find a "home" among these 15 houses, no matter which sorority you ultimately end up with.

#5 by: My second day
I went to 7 today and am at a total of 5 favorites, 4 that I really can't see myself in and the others are great, but time will tell if these switch themselves around a bit. BTW one of the bottom 4 is one that is always considered "top" on here. One of my favorite 5 is "bottom" on here. In the eye of the beholder
Happy preferencing and praying that I get at least some of my favorites back to get to know them better!

Agreed. The more you talk to other PNMs the more you are susceptible to changing your mind about what is right for you. Make your own decisions, you will end up in the house that is right for you. You start listening to others, and you could have a very unhappy 4 years here at Mizzou. I've seen it happen so many times!
