recrutment week
by: Nervous and ExcitedSo excited and really nervous for recruitment week and it's finally here! A couple questions and I hope people won't be mean, some of us are really clueless and especialy coming from out of state. So we get t shirts to wear for most of the days, some people know the colors and some don't? And then a causal day, is that a romper, sundress, dressy shorts-what is acceptable? and of course pref day and is it true there are certain colors to definitely not wear? Some have said don't wear black or white. And then others said avoid red, pink or royal blue-why is that? I thought all houses wear black and white, why avoid other colors??? Very nervous but so excited! And what about bid day? Is it still being held at the football stadium or was that only because last years recruitment was so big? Thank you so much-can't wait to start all of this!

the shirt colors in the past have been gold, salmon/pink, and light blue/mint. you wear those the first 2 days with cute shorts, then the same for philanthropy days. for sisterhood round you wear a sundress or you can wear an appropriate length romper. preference round a fancier dress. bid day just shorts and a tank. for pref you can wear whatever kind of dress you want. whatever you feel best in. bid day is still at faurot field aka the stadium. All this info is in the recruitment guide.

Apparently, and not saying this is correct, but from what I've heard CERTAIN houses get so mad if you wear the color they are wearing-be it black, white, pink, blue, red etc. Personally I think that is absurd(and I know, some of you would cut me asap bc of my attitude). but if we don't know the color to avoid we shouldn't be criticized and marked down for what we choose to wear! And to be honest, I understand why houses do white and black to stay nuertral-no clue why houses choose other colors.
