Seriously. No matter how threatened you are of another house, please stop tearing down houses. Tri delt, zeta, Axo, gphi, and aphi have all been hit pretty hard these past couple weeks. The truth is: People are targeting Tri delt because they've had a rough year and they think they can jump the ranks right before recruitment. People are targeting zeta because they always put in a good recruitment and now they are getting a new house so lesser houses are worried about their PNMs choosing zeta over their house. People are targeting AXO because they are the most up and coming house that has really done well in recent years and people are threatened of them. People are targeting Gphi because they are always popular during recruitment and with Tri delt not doing as well, Gphi is expected to jump them, and other houses may think that's unfair. People are targeting aphi the same reason they are targeting Tri delt.

Truth is, these houses are being targeted for a reason. People are jealous and threatened that their recruitment is going to be directly effected because other houses are expected to do better. So they take it out on this website, hoping to sway PNMs opinions before recruitment starts. It's pathetic, it's low, and it does not give a good name to our Greek community. Stop trying to sabotage other houses. Thank you.

Honestly when I was a pnm I AIMED for the house that was picked on the most. Who got picked on in hs? The pretty popular girls. Who did no one speak of? The quiet geeky ones. The more you speak of the houses you're threatened of, the more they will be in the pnms radar. I know haters are desperate so keep talkin girls.

I wish I had gone to your high school. In my school the geeky smart girls were treated like pariahs.

Except when it is the girls "at the top" who are doing the bullying. Let's remember, the pretty, popular girls often are fairly dumb and insecure. It is the pretty, smart, involved girls who are confident enough to not care much about what others people think.

You obviously weren't popular in school, trust me we couldn't care less about any "geeky" girls. Also at my school you were pretty much required to get straight A's if you wanted to be in the popular clique, pretty sure being "dumb" (aka lazy) isn't a good trait anywhere.

I have never in my life heard a truly popular and well-liked girl call herself that. It's pretty much the wannabes who are trying so desperately to prove they are.

I think whatever point you made eluded us, probably because you were so intent on letting us know that the only houses you are interested in are the houses with the popular girls. my bad.

Let me get this straight. You communicate with the sophistication of a second grader and WE are the ones who aren't very sharp? If you have something to say, do it in simple, declarative sentences. Your original post is convoluted and obtuse.

Are you still in high school? In college we're taught to get our point across in as little words as possible - prevents miscommunication (although apparently even the most straightforward wording is beyond your understanding.) That sentence you're so proud of is not only beyond try-hard but is THE perfect case of verbose wording.

So then tell me how this is a cogent thought: "The more you speak of the houses you're threatened of, the more they will be in the pnms radar." First, you are threatened "by" something, not threatened "of" something. Second, you are "on" someone's radar, not "in" someone's radar. And shouldn't there be an apostrophe there somewhere? But I'm sure you knew what you were trying to say, even if no one else did. LOL.

Don't cha hate it when someone rips someone else's writing and accuses them of being verbose, and then when they are exposed for being nearly illiterate they decide that grammar and basic writing skills aren't important after all? You can't have it both ways, hun. So, which is it?

I am laughing out loud at this exchange. Our little friend who is the OP is a dwarf among titans when it comes to writing. And she doesn't even know it! She must have forgotten she is exposing herself to girls who attend the best journalism school in the nation. If it weren't so funny it would be sad.

Please don't bring j school into this, my classmates would not sit around on here using SAT words to try to impress GR lurkers. The first thing we learn is to NOT use complicated words in our writing, so that's a major hint right there...

No, the FIRST thing a journalist learns is to use the appropriate word. So nice try impersonating a journalism student, but no one is buying what you're selling. True journalists never, and I repeat NEVER, dumb down their vocab.
