college vs high school grades

How does a 3.5 college GPA look compared to all the 4.0 high school grades of incoming freshman? How are they compared by one another?

I went through recruitment with a 3.5 GPA and only got cut from 1 house! I ended up in a top house which was my favorite throughout the whole week, but I also had a good resume from high school and I'm pretty outgoing. They will look at more than just your grades! :)

Just realized you said college 3.5, but I'm sure it would work out the same way because a 3.5 in college and a 3.5 in high school are 2 very different things!

A 3.5 GPA after your freshman year of college is pretty impressive. You should be fine since the college gpa is lower than a high school gpa
