What sororities will accept my 3.1 GPA? Do they look at the classes you have taken or just GPA?

Don't wait till sophomore year! Most girls really like Greek life the most as freshmen
You'll be safe with mid and lower tier houses with your 3.1

Give it a try, there are still chapters that will love to have you! However there are definitely some that are selective enough with grades that will have to pass on you

But most will pass. Sororities are looking for girls who will help make their chapter better. Someone who got a 3.1 in high school will only bring down their pledge class and all house gpa. My guess is that social stuff got in the way of studying in high school for this girl and, if she doesn't get her act together, it will again in college. I doubt she will last long. I love how people here talk so much crap concerning grades.!its beyond annoying to see people make condescending replies about anyone with under a 3.5 GPA, when in reality your 4.0's you're so proud of don't really matter because STL schools give out A's like nobodies business. I've seen many girls who got 4.0's in high school get subpar 2.0 range GPA's in college so let's lose the pretentious attitudes here

And let's also keep in mind that the phrase is "nobody's business," for those of you who might think our little friend above ^ is smarter than those of us who got 4.0's in AP or IB classes and really worked for our A's. But I guess my 34 ACT speaks for itself, doesn't it? And, also, she might want to learn the difference between "it's" and "its."

If Hmmmm had worked a little harder and had gotten a few more of those meaningless A's, she might be able to write coherently. LOL.
