what should i do.....

by:

Well, I don't exactly knows my roommate very well at all and I kind of convinced her that she would really be missing out if she wasn't rushing so she signed up. Now she's freaking out about rec letters, not being a legacy and has no idea what to expect and idk what to do or say considering i was the one who got her into this. Should I offer for some of my cousins to write her recs? I know being in a sorority will be a fulfilling experience I just feel bad because I kind of forced her into this

Yeah help her find some recs if you can, but it's not a huge deal if she can't get many. Being a legacy really doesn't matter much at all there are so many these days. She's in the exact same place as most girls and there is a lot you can read online about what to expect!

I convinced my freshman roommate to rush as well! She didn't have one rec letter, nor was she a legacy, but she had her top three houses come pref day! I convinced her to sign up, because she as well was very iffy, but she loved every minute of being in a sorority!

Rec letters really don't matter when it comes to the last day, it may get you one more round but thats it. Also, the person above that said legacies doesn't matter is partially true. There have been many times where nearly entire pledge classes are made of legacies. Unfortunately they can't take them all. There are way too many.
