social, but no judgement
by: ?Just curious as to the houses that are considered social, but don't have a lot of drama. I know every house has social girls,but are there some that are more judgemental after bid day? It seems some houses try to sell themselves, but just curious as to a good, fun sisterhood. Heard of several, but we all know how rumors go. And believe me, I'll take this all lightly until I find a house, just curious as to the general opinion! Thanks!

I would definitely not consider social and judgemental to be mutually exclusive. If anything houses like ADPi and Theta seem to be known for being judgy more so than any of the houses. Tridelt has had a rough couple years but that's due more to changes within the sorority than the personality of their members. I find all the social houses to be more laid back and easy going so I don't think you'll have a problem with any of them!

Pretty much year round the house that seems to be non judgmental and drama free AFTER bid day is gphi. they seem to take so many random girls out of state as well as the sporadic st Louis girls who are mixed in to private and public schools. Its a very weird combo of girls but seems to work well, that is the one group if I could choose out of my house, id like to be a part of, most girls seem so open and they all like to hang out.
PiPhi is always social and accepting of out of town girls. they seem to get a ton of girls from kc, stl 'area' and Chicago suburbs. No bonding problems there, they all like each other and like to go out.
ADpi-Totally random mix of girls-they've totally changed it up the last year. Balanced their smart girls with , no offense, dingy pretty girls. They won't have a problem with recruitment.
Tridelt, Aphi, Zeta, DG-all social-tridelt struggled the past 2 years with their image but they will definitely be back this year. The others will battle over those social girls. Problem will be for aphi for the girls that want to go in to a house with more 'credibility' bc of grades, image, involvement and of course the new house. And WHOEVER suggested it would be a good idea for them to flood these boards should be booted-prob biggest mistake, you don't flood boards when you have documented WORST retention, grades and sisterhood, have proved yourselves to be ridiculously catty with theses boards,inarticulate and immature.

I didn't read it that way at all. I think the point was they used to be known as a chill house-something is really different, maybe the talk of zeta and dg(dg is probably the dark horse of this years recruitment). They need to get back to that image of chill. But I'd also add AXO into the mix, with DG and Zeta-the past year there were more , very, social girls in those houses. Because none of those houses are at the very top of the list with grades there doesn't seem to be that pressure. Things seemed to really change up last year and it's good to see more girls going out and having a good time as well as being involved.
