gpa issue!!
by: 49383I'm gonna be a freshman at Mizzou in the fall and I have been super back and forth about whether or not I want to rush or not. The main thing that is holding me back is my GPA (2.6) and ACT (27). Can anyone give me a straight up honest answer about whether or not I will be cut from most of the houses right away just from the GPA issue? (I also don't care at all about which houses are considered "top tier" or "bottom tier", I just want to keep an open mind throughout this experience!!

I think that first and foremost you need to work on your study skills. The demands of 1st semester sorority life, with homecoming and all sorts of other activities, might really get in the way of studying, which should be your first priority. why don't you work on your gpa and go through rush sophomore year?

Her ACT was higher than a 24 which made her eligeable.
Also if you have a good resume and participated in a couple things in HS I think you'll do okay for the most part!
