black dress on pref day

I've been reading on other sites that it's not a good idea to wear a black dress on the day that is considered the dressier day. I think it's pref day.

What do you all think? Is it a big deal?

They say that because a lot of sororities across the country wear black or white during pref round and you might not stand out as much. I don't think it's a big deal if you do, the active talking to you wont forget youre a pnm

Probably won't matter too much, most of the sororities here either wear their sorority/philanthropy color and some of the others wear black or white, so basically, even if you wear a certain color dress, you might still be matching with girls in that sorority on their pref day, so it really doesn't matter!
