recruitment video rankings?

Both are very good houses if you ask anyone on campus. Most things you read on greek rank are just jealous girls trying to push other houses down as if that makes their house better or something

Not all sororities do recruitment videos, many of the solid houses don't need to. Dg has a great video and which they needed as they continue to try to regain the position they once had on this campus, it'll work in their benefit for sure. Axo has a great video also and they continue to climb also. ADpi actually was also well above average but the dull color of the video was a weird choice, otherwise would've ranked it with dg and axo. Alphaphis didn't live up to the hype they usually have and considering the amount of money they sink into videos, etc, this was the year they could have used a stand out video, especially in facing tough competition from dg. kd and chio were fine but just not as good as the other ones. Chio is one of the houses that doesn't even need to do one because they usually draw girls on reputation. Personally like the bid day videos better because they usually capture the natural excitement and personality of the girls on that day. Some of the recruitment videos are too 'staged' and what we know from tri delts last year, they can say anything or paint any image they want you to see. So if you're looking for a more realistic image of a house, look more at bid day as opposed to a staged video.

I thought APhi's was nothing overly special but amongst the ones made it was the most unique, like the other person said the others are purely shots by drones and in the pool. KDs and ADPi's weren't very good. XO's was the best quality I've ever seen from a recruitment video. And AXO and DGs were again very similar but great nonetheless there's a reason those drone videos are popular, it looks incredible.

I thought Tridelt's looked the least staged this year out of any sorority's video honestly

Chi o's was also all footage from the girls, it just didn't have a lot of people in it

And that's why I like SK's better. XO felt more like an advertisement for a travel agency then highlighting their sisterhood. It was beautiful nd well shot but I wish they'd had more members in it.

But I guess everyone can guess which house will be using those trippy filters and music for their bid day video! The house that can not come up with ANY ideas of their own~the 'wannabe' house! Tridelt can do whatever they want and it'll work. Yes, they're struggling a bit, but they'll rebound! That's why there is one particular house that is again starting to tear other houses up(and pretend they are someone else).

The one thing i hated was that every single video showed off girls in a pool even tridelt.....except in tridelt's it was less about showing off their members bodies in the pools, they were just goofing off...and as for the "no pants" comment, they were wearing jerseys??? Did you want them to wear jeans while shooting the video and sweat their butts off? Sororities shoot these things in the spring close to the end of the school year. Would you of rather had them holding hands and running around laughing with each other? Because that's what nearly every other recruitment video released this summer has looked like. I didn't know it was bad to use "trippy" music and filters...it's okay to be different people!!

Both DG and Alpha Phi had great videos, if those two are crappy sororities here I can't imagine what your top sororities look like!
