rush expectations
by: PNMI'll be rushing at miz this August and I'm worried about getting a bid from a sorority I'd enjoy being in. Would you guys say the majority of people get a bid from somewhere they feel they fit in?

As rush goes on, if you feel your only choices are from houses where you don't think you will fit in, you should drop. I would say the vast majority of people feel comfortable in their house and fit in nicely, but that's because it's a mutual selection process. You should give every house a chance, but if you wind up with houses that are not what you want you are under no obligation to stay with it till the end. Maybe sorority life just isn't for you (and I'm not being mean when I say that, just realistic). But also keep in mind that out of a pledge class of 75 girls, you should be able to click with at least some of them.
