Are the first days with your PC awkward, if people don't know each other?

nah, everyone is trying to make friends too so everyone is usually really nice and outgoing

As an out of state student I knew no one in my sorority and that made bid day a little weird at first but everyone is so excited and willing to talk to everyone so it ended up fine! You also get an older girl assigned to stay with you all day which helps.
The first day of class everyone wears their bid day shirt so you can find girls in your sorority to sit with and make some friends that way.
Just put yourself out there and soon you'll know alot of people, you spend so much time together it'll be easy to make friends!

Your pledge moms and their Bid Day babies will all be hanging out so you'll meet a ton of girls on Bid Day and the first few weeks! I encourage you to go out with girls in your pledge class during syllabus week too to get to know some girls!
