disabilities and rush

by: Pnm

Would I be at a disadvantage if i were to have a physical disability (paraplegic) during rush? In all honesty I'm kind of pretty, was involved in school, and had a pretty good GPA. I'm just worried that people won't be able to see over the fact I can't walk.

You should definitely rush if you want to! Sororites are about sisterhood and no physical disability can prevent you from being a good sister. Although I am not certain about this I should warn you, many of the sorority houses here are old therefore don't seem to be up to ADA standards for accessibility. Regardless, I'm sure every house will do its best to make you feel comfortable and welcome!
