advice to pnms
by: Let's stereotype
Advice to pnm's coming into rush with little knowledge about mizzou's chapters... People will say go into rush with an open mind but while I agree it's good to keep an open mind, I also believe it's wise to do a little homework and know what you're getting into. I'm going to segregate the houses by strengths and then order them by tier. The houses in each group will have a lot of similarities but will vary in overall strength. Like college applications, the top should be considered your reach and bottom can be your safety, as the higher the sorority is, the most selective they will be, in general.
Disclaimer: first and foremost base your decision on your connection, always!
Disclaimer 2: although I'm segregating the chapters, ALL houses represent all pillars (social, sisterhood, academics, philanthropy)
Academics:
XO
Theta
ADPi
KD
Social:
GPhi
Tridelt
APhi
Zeta
Well-rounded:
Pi Phi
Kappa
AXO
DG
Random:
Phi Mu - strong in competitions, strong sisterhood
SK - new sorority, don't have much of an image yet
Sigma - stuck in transitional stage
#5by: XO is not only smart
i would definitely have to say XO is easily the most well rounded house at Mizzou. They know how to party they make good grades they place in hc/greek week and in any organization you will find a chi o in a leadership position. Kind of stupid to label them just smart
