alpha phi vs adpi (not what you think)
by: Don't do itPeople go after Alpha Phi CONSTANTLY calling them bottom tier because of their grades. Are they on this site calling themselves middle tier? Sure. But then y'all come on here saying they think they're top and are really bottom because of grades... Like come on. Why are y'all such bullies? Why can't y'all comprehend that there are different types of pnms looking for different experiences. There are numerous different sorority types, the ones mainly focused on grades, the ones mainly focused on social and then the well rounded houses. And guess what? The girls who wanted a sorority that's hardcore focused on only grades don't see value in a sorority that's hardcore focused on social. And the girls who are crazy about social would also hate to be in house all about grades! Does that make individuals of purely social sororities stupid? Does that make individuals of purely academic sororities outcasts? No, so stop calling each other bottom tier, you're both MID because you do well in a category. Stop fighting with each other when you don't even recruit the same girls ffs!

There ARE NO houses that are focused exclusively on grades. What about that is so difficult to comprehend, Alpha Phi? Every house that has good grades also is strong in other areas. ADPi does great at competitions, has a great sisterhood and has many true leaders who stand apart. Theta's sisterhood is second to none, they have members who are funny, warm and welcoming and they are very committed to their philanthropy. PiPhi is filled with immensely creative and individualistic girls who support one another while also being popular. But there are several houses who are just social. The only reason the Alpha Phis of the world are not in the same league with the well-rounded high achievers is that they don't have very high standards when it comes to grades.

you are clearly an alumni. your 'descriptions' of those sororities are EXTREMELY dated-especially pi phi.theta, sadly has been struggling to hang on to the 'newer' type they started recruiting(not saying that's a bad thing at all, it will just take a while for them to draw in they type of girl who is a balance of smart/social). but once again, you are clearly the one that keeps bringing up the OUTDATED grades of pi phi-lets check back when this semesters grades are posted-however since there are several girls already on 'unofficial' probation, their grades won't be reported. did the tri delt thing not teach anyone ANYTHING about reporting grades? so lets give up the grade issue-mizzous gpas for sororities are SO close (3.0-3.4) you can not even say there is a standout because of reporting issues. give it up already. every house has something to offer and even the questionable houses some of you mention have absolute standouts and have been recruiting absolute standouts. I don't think we can even say there is a single huge party house anymore-it's all changed up. so put your ridiculous outdated top tiers to rest already.

As much as I stereotype most miserable trolls as ADPi's there's been an XO alum that speaks so similarly to this girl, when xo was being criticized she would cry "then whoooo will replace xo if they're not top" as if this was the most genius excuse she's ever come up with. PS: nothing but tradition gives xo their name they're very average girls

Even though statistically a 3.0 and a 3.4 are miles apart, I would love for "seriously" to tell us the grade cutoff during rush for Alpha Phi vs. Pi Phi, Theta and ADPi. And if the generally accepted tiers are so outdated, what are the new ones and how in the world can you justify APhi being top tier?

Even though statistically a 3.0 and a 3.4 are miles apart, I would love for "seriously" to tell us the grade cutoff during rush for Alpha Phi vs. Pi Phi, Theta and ADPi. And if the generally accepted tiers are so outdated, what are the new ones and how in the world can you justify APhi being top tier?

While they might not focus exclusively on grades, as Alpha Phi isn't focused exclusively on social, ADPi and APhi are both severely weak in one category. Which puts them on the same level - Pnm looking for grades focused house, ADPi is the fall back. Pnm looking for social, APhi is the fallback. They're both GOOD and not the worst in the category, both they are both nowhere near as well rounded or strong as the houses they're competing with. Same level, different values. Fact
