values-based recruitment?

So I was looking at the Mizzou greek life page and there was a section where they mentioned they're transitioning to a value based recruitment. What exactly does that mean? Will sororities change what they're looking for?

They just want everyone to focus on deeper things like values and sisterhood instead of superficial things
