sophomore rush
by: PNMOkay so I didn't decide to rush last year but this year after meeting so many friends in houses I think I might. I am an average looking girl whose been well-involved and a 3.8 GPA what are my chances of actually getting in a decent house?

If you have a 3.8 in college GPA, you have nothing to worry about as far as grades go. Just be sure to be yourself, talk about how you're involved on campus and let these houses know that you're looking for something more to add to your college experience. Let them know that you can bring value to their house and that you're hoping to find sister in the process. Average looking is great. My house doesn't judge looks based on attractiveness, we judge based on "appearance" as in, did you make an effort to look nice? Do you look like you want to be there? Do you have a good attitude? Etc.
Be yourself, don't forget to mention your awesome in college GPA and good luck :)

No need to mention your GPA. Houses will have that information and if you go on and on about it you won't be viewed very favorably.
