the real top tier

by: Real deal

IMO, our top houses should be above average in every aspect, not just strong in one or two. A top house should be the total package and offer a myriad of things to its members. there are very few houses that fit that description. Just because you may be the smartest house on campus, or the hottest house, doesn't necessarily make you overall a great house. A top house should be well-rounded.

IMO I think only tri delta, Adpi, AXO, and kappa fit into that category. Arguably DG (although not as much as the others).

These house all are involved (yes, delta is involved in terms of philanthropy and leadership on campus), good grades, all these girls are above average in looks and popularity. All are well liked (despite what this page says about Adpi/kappa lately), and respected.

Every other house on campus falls short in one or more major categories.

Sometimes what makes a house the best can't be quantified. They just have a certain something that attracts PNMs and makes their sisterhood strong. And most of the houses you listed don't have it. Sorry.

Agreed. Additionally, the houses you mentioned aren't well rounded... Literally the most random list but we all know it's ADPi once again throwing in AXO and now tridelt so it doesn't seem too obvious. ADPi is the least well rounded house, they have grades and that's it. AXO is "good" at everything, great at nothing. Tridelt is losing it but was previously a great example of well rounded. You seem a little lost OP what is ADPi doing to you?

What makes pi phi top ? Nothing seems exceptional about them grades, comps, leadership.

Clearly you don't go to this school. Or you were cut by PiPhi the first day. Most of us know they, and XO, are in a league of their own.

Maybe instead of accusing them of not going here/being dropped from Pi Phi, you could answer the question. If they're undeniably top, then it shouldn't be that hard.

If you think the top PNMs pledge a house because of comps or leadership, you are mistaken. PiPhi and XO do just fine in grades, so I don't understand your point. And if you don't know that a sisterhood and lifelong friendships are not based on statistics, then lord help you. Or, to put it succinctly, you wouldn't understand.

"I think I'll pledge KD instead of PiPhi because KD did so well in Greek Week," said no PNM ever.

Thanks again ADPi! And while I'm in no way surprised that the Janis Ian's of the school are trying to make a case about themselves being top tier, once again, to throw DG in the mix is laughable. No one does into rush wanting to be DG.
PS: ADPi try hiding your desperate once in a while, it'll do your rep some good (and you could use it)

Our favorite alum is back. She has so little to do in the middle of the day that she feels the need to come on this site and say insulting things about PiPhi, ADPi, XO, DG and the other houses that cut her daughter. I'm think there must be better things you can do with your time. You could get a job, finish the ironing, mop the floor, blow the FedEx guy or turn those old Janis Ian cassettes into newer technology. My mom used to like Janie Ian, too, because it kept her humble while reminding her of all of the losers who knew every lyric.
