what happened to phi delt?

When a chapter shuts down and re-colonizes they can no longer say they have been on campus for 50, 60, whatever years because technically they are a new chapter, and it hurts them during recruitment down the road. Phi Delt has a rich history here and at times has been a top fraternity (according to my dad who was here in the early 80s). The alums support the current action and don't want to give up the charter.

So basically they are doing a patch up job just to save their rich history. Yeah, like that's going to work. Patch up job or re-organizing usually ends up even worst than the original chapter.

Fraternities and sororities should get together and not participate with the Phi Delts. Their national committed fraud knowing they would be doing this for years. They have done this at other chapters.
This could happen to other fraternities and sororities.
Send a message to the phi delts that this will not be tolerated.
Spread the word not to rush this house.
Why would you want to belong to a fraternity with a criminal national.
