opinions on legacies

So I overheard a guy talking about me in the dorm saying that I obviously had to be a legacy for my sorority because I was too average. I am just shocked. First off I would say I'm cute when I'm dressed up and put together but that's not the point. What really shocked me is how people assume that if you don't fit the the stereotypical description of a popular sorority then you have to be a legacy. No one in my family was Greek, so I deserved my bid (not to say that legacies don't). I just don't think it's fair to judge girls for not being perfect copies of each other
