the difference?????

I will be going to Mizzou next year and my sister, who is a year older, will be going to Indiana University after spending two semesters at Meramec. We know about rush at Mizzou because we have friends and cousins who have been through it. Does anyone know how IU rush differs from Mizzou's? Maybe I should be posting on their website, but I thought I would start here. (And I really don't want to hear from that creepy girl who always says bad things about Mizzou. I am a better student overall than my sister and like Mizzou much more than IU plus it is a better school in my major. She sort of went to IU so she doesn't have to compete academically with me! But don't tell her I said that. LOL!!!!!)

IU has many more sororities than Mizzou and a different quota system that limits the number of girls in each pledge class. Even so, it is not nearly as competitive as Mizzou rush and it seems they are less concerned with quality than quantity. In other words, we may have fewer chapters, but our system overall is much better. And they also have several chapters without sorority houses.

At IU you must live in the house, maybe all 4 years. Also if there's a bed you get in, if not, no. More $$$ too at IU
