I went through a couple years ago and I know a few girls who managed to get bids with below a 3.0. But the vast majority were cut. It gets harder and harder every year.
I would say you have a small chance if you're a legacy to a house or know a lot of girls in it and you manage to absolutely blow them away. Otherwise, nope.

Most houses set a standard for grades that helps them make lots of first cuts. IF you have low grades for a certain reason, like going through depression, finding out you have ADHD or some type of actual reason that your GPA is really low, then you should tell them that, even if you don't like opening up, so that they can explain that to their chapter during rush and help you out. BUT don't make up a story because we will find out if it is fake.
