top 5 or 10 frats to rush fall 2016

I just found this message board. Not sure what to believe or not. It seems like mostly sorority stuff. ARe there any dudes on here? I am planning on rushing but would love to some real advice without haters.

What are the top 5 or 10 frats I should consider? i have well above average grades and want to keep it that way. also like to party (responsibly) and have fun. Are there good fraternities that are this plus like to play sports? Should I avoid any houses? Thanks for any help.

Thanks a lot. I do like some kids that are Pikes, Betas and Fiji that went to my high school and have heard some other kids really like DU. So confusing but I guess I gotta find out where I fit in the best. Is formal rush good to go to?

Okay bud I'm gonna be real here. Although it's nice you know Pikes and Fiji that doesn't necessarily mean you need to join them. Keep in mind that these are guys you will spend countless hours of time with over the next 4 years. Make sure you like fraternity, not just the kids you went to high school with. I know too many guys who had a buddy or 2 who were older but didn't like their pledge class and most of the fraternity and dropped after sophomore year. By all means please do check out those pike and Fiji, but make sure if you join you'd have a great time without the people you knew. Formal recruitment is a good idea if you don't necessarily want to throw all your eggs in one basket and get a chance to rush more fraternities

Consider Phi Delt in the fall. The house is changing and they'll have a brand spankin new house in the fall after renovations. It'll be a good house to consider

They're always top in GPA, are decent in sports, do well in Greek Week, and girls from top sororities like going over there. They're a top house and you might not like them but you can't dispute it.

I'd recommend that you definitely look into DU and Beta. In my opinion, they're the top fraternities at Mizzou. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to look into Sigma Chi and possibly Delta Tau Delta. Kappa Sigma, with a newly renovated house, might also be worth your interest.
