filling the houses

by:

With decreased enrollment, PHA already expects a smaller rush. with smaller pledge classes are we going to have a lot of sororities struggling to fill their houses? This year was only a little smaller than last year and my house is struggling to fill our rooms. We're an upper mid house that doesn't COB, so I assume there are other houses struggling to be filled too. What are we going to do if pledge classes keep getting smaller??

With the expansions sorority houses have had over the years and the chapters that have gotten/ are getting new houses, it is likely smaller pledge classes will mean more room in the house than just for sophomores. That being said, the spots in houses would have to be filled with juniors, rather than just sophomores. It's not the norm at Mizzou, but a lot of other schools' houses operate this way.

I feel like if PNM's will be significantly lower in fall we have too choices. Set the bar lower, and cut less girls to accommodate for a smaller pool or have more houses COB in spring. Ideally most Mizzou sororities should stay in the 300's with membership.

"too" choices. Really? I understand that this is not exactly a PhD thesis, but could you please try to project a better image of Mizzou students? I knew the difference between "two" and "to" and "too" in first grade.

In my house, they're making it mandatory for the freshmen pledge class to live in their sophomore year and because of the incoming pledge class being even smaller, the live in dues are increasing...not by much, but the increase will for sure be in place this coming fall for Fall '15 and the upcoming pledge class when they live in
