Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority Ratings at Mizzou

The women in other houses on campus that come to make extreme, fallacious comments on this website about a house that is trying to build itself back up should be treated with nothing but the same kindness and support they are showing Sigma this summer when they hit a bad year. I would encourage PNMs to remember what comes from raw emotion is almost always not the truth and to give the women still making Sigma their home and offering their sisterhood a chance.

It was honestly hard to rate this chapter because they aren’t known for anything. They are only involved in sigma and nothing outside (aka on campus orgs) which is crazy because despite the extra time they spend in this sorority, it never gets better. The exec board this year is the worst I have ever seen. They had to keep replacing exec members because they all dropped. Just like the rating below, sigma is a reject house. They label it “inclusive,” but really they take anyone they can get because they are so desperate for dues and girls to fill the house. It’s sad because this chapter could be great but it has terrible nationals, exec leaders, advisors, and the girls are all very random. They have nothing in common besides going to Mizzou. Don’t even get me started on how bad their house decs look during hoco every year…and the fact their house didn’t have letters on the lawn on bid day…

They are not known for being wealthy or really anything remotely positive. Unless you consider the fact that they let in all the rejects all other chapters didn’t want. I think they like to say that makes them “inclusive”. Don’t join this chapter unless you want to be scammed into paying more money than it’s worth. Some of the people are nice but the exec board is horrible. Nationals does not care about any of the members just their money. The women form cliques and are catty and fake nice to each other. Dropping was the best thing I have ever done. I would’ve dropped sooner but they told us we were not allowed to drop because they needed the members but mainly the money or else the house would close.

I recently dropped because it seemed like Sigmas would always be told "I'm disappointed that no one is doing xyz" and the sorority is in severe debt. As of leaving, they could not fill the house and many were behind on dues. I would not recommend this sorority because of how its run, there is very little sisterhood, communication is horrible, and the sorority is far too expensive for what you get out of it (and for how much debt there is). Many people dropped after this last semester and I would not recommend any freshman join.

Wow, the amount of self ranking on this page is sad. This house has the worst grades on campus and the girls are not involved in anything outside of this chapter. Do what you will with your rush, but highly recommend making a different house your home.

every miz chapter has its good and bad sides. reviews on Greek rank mean nothing but every tri sig I’ve met has been so sweet and is friends with girls in other houses.

This chapter is filled with such kind and outgoing girls that always make anyone in the room feel welcome. This chapter makes me want to get to know each and everyone of them because they always have a positive mindset.

Every girl I have met in this house is amazing. They are all so kind and all love each other. Don’t judge a house by what others say. You don’t know until you’ve met them.
