Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority Ratings at Mizzou

I just need to say the Sigma has something special going for it. They welcome everyone and have a very supportive sisterhood. I want to spread the PHA love and give props where props are due. Sigma doesn’t deserve all this hate they are wonderful

Every single girl I have met in this house has either been extremely rude and full of herself or extremely socially awkward. Many of their active members hate their own house and many people have dropped. These girls really deserve to be a bottom house because all they do is accept everyone into their house until they only have rejects and a mix of people who have nothing in common. Choose no sorority over this one. Better go COB than to join just go join

Why is this house getting so much hate? All the Sigmas I’ve met are nice. They’re trying to better their sisterhood and are working on issues within the house. Seems to me that nobody’s giving them a chance. I have enough confidence in my house that I do not feel the need to belittle another. PHA love

This house is the absolute worst, everything said about it is true. A bunch of random people in one house who have nothing in common. The sisterhood is awful, members don’t feel comfortable around their own PC. The people I’ve met either dropped or have friends in other chapters. No wonder they are about to get kicked off. I overheard a member say they will never wear their letters in public... if so many people hate being in it... why is this chapter still here???

As a member of 3 years, I can honestly say that Tri Sigma at Mizzou is one of the worst Sigma chapters in existence. I preferenced this chapter until the end because I really loved the girls I talked to during recruitment... but they have since dropped. Tri Sigma has such diversity in membership that it has long surpassed being "refreshing." These girls have absolutely nothing in common. They all have friends- but in different houses. I swear, they spend more time in other sorority houses than in their own. Within the next year, they're going to get kicked off campus - based solely upon the number of girls dropping. Trust me: It's better to not be in a sorority at all than it is to be in Tri Sigma.

This is by far the worst chapter in existence. Their exec members have no idea how to run a chapter and ignore emails from their members. They ignored that I dropped their chapter for three months, continued to bill/fine me, and ended up "terminating" me. There is a reason this chapter cannot keep members. After many attempts of contacting this chapter to be reimbursed, I am still ignored. Sigma is barely staying afloat and will not be a chapter for very much longer.

The Greek Week queen this year is in Tri Sigma wooooo queens!!!!!! Love this house

I have several friends in this house and they are all so sweet and pretty. They have received some hate recently, but it’s all girls who didn’t get a great experience because they didn’t put in the effort. I love this house and their events on campus.

At recruitment I thought they were nice, but everyone I have talked to in tri sigma hated it and quit.

i was a member for 3 years so this is about as honest as it can get. sigma gave me some of my best friends in college but the house has some very serious internal issues that they choose to ignore. instead of actually fixing the deep-rooted issues and being honest with themselves about it, the leadership chooses to just keep replacing girls at a very high rate. it’s true, it’s a bunch of random girls for the most part but it is easy to find a group you click with if you try. the sisterhood is mediocre at best and i often felt unwelcome even as an upperclassmen with a solid group of friends. i don’t regret joining sigma but i do regret staying and being complacent for as long as i did. they need to worry about on finding an identity and retaining girls rather than trying not to look like a bottom tier house.
