I’m not going to lie. If you’re planning on being a geed don’t come here. Greek Life still dominates the social scene with more than ~6,000 students in the Greek population. If you’re a guy know that there are lots of fraternities, but not all are created equal. Only 10 or so are relevant, and you’ll know who they are. If you’re a girl, then just know that sorority rush can be and often is a painful process, but stick through it and you’ll be rewarded with the experience of a lifetime.

Greek life is truly the way to go for males and females at Mizzou. The friendships made will exceed any you have coming in. We take so much pride in our school and the greek community. It is competive as Mizzou is not an easy school as far as making it into many academic programs. A student coming into greek life should be on top of their game academically. That being said, our greek organziations GPA is higher than the overall GPA of all students combined.

Greek life at mizzou is extremely competitive and a great way to be involved on campus. Most people go through rush or have a reason why they didn’t. Greek life continues to be popular and is only growing!
