Sigma Chi has always historically done well with recruiting but they have also historically had issues with IFC and Nationals. Hard to recomend a house if you do not if it will be there for your entire undergrad experience. Some good guys, some no so good.

Fixing Greek Rank one review at a time. Chapter currently suspended from the university, but was one of the better houses on greek row. Unfortunately chapter suspension automatically rewards 1/5.

Given the relatively recent events that led to Sigma Chi getting kicked off campus keep that in mind before you consider rushing here in the future. There are much better, more stable choices on campus to consider.

You really thought with all the historical trouble and even these posts (whcih you should NOT take into account with rushing really) that you wouldn't rush Sig Chi, well congrats, exactly what EVERYONE knew would sooner or later happen happend. It's never a good thing when a house gets the boot, but this was sooooo damn avoidable I have no remorse. Enjoy not being a house.

They are no longer on campus. The behavior that they have repeated over and over resulted in their alumni saying enough. I feel bad for the alumni. This has been a good chapter thru the years. So sad that they are not on campus but it was inevitable with bad actors.
