rushing as a sophomore

by: Wondering

I was really disappointed with the house I got so I dropped. I still want to be in greek life next year, though. What are my chances of getting a bid as a sophomore who has already rushed? Are sophomore quotas a real thing?

To be clear, there is a HUGE different between rushing as a sophomore who didn’t rush/ didn’t receive a bid freshman year and rushing as a sophomore who got a bid and dropped. A sophomore who never received a bid can honestly have a great rush and not have being a sophomore really make a difference. A sophomore who received a bid and dropped has an uphill battle to get a bid anywhere

In almost all sororities if they’ve dropped you once they will not be due later.

Get your grades sky high
Meet as many actives as possible
Build friendships
Get involved on campus
Have your answer locked down about your recruitment experience and what happened.
Be positive, be prepared, and see what happens
