date parties

Bump!!

1. It is not required to bring a date to a date party!! But you will definitely want to... and its not hard, especially as a freshman! You will be going out and meeting soooo many different boys that it's not hard to ask one to a date party.
2. Heres the difference: A swap is hosted by a fraternity and you will have 1 or 2 every week. For example- one thursday your sorority will swap with Theta Chi, the next thursday they may swap with SAE. The swaps are at the fraternity houses and there is alcohol and a band. Every swap is themed, so it could be a rave or it could be cowboys and indians, etc
A date party is hosted by your sorority and ONLY girls in your sorority can go+ their one date. Your sorority chooses the venue and the theme. It may be a formal, tacky christmas, beach themed, redneck themed, whatever! date parties are soooooo much fun, but depending on the sorority, they are usually only once a month!!
