being dropped
by: PnmIs anyone else scared of being dropped from your favorite house during rush? Because I've heard stories of girls that "fit" with the personality of the house they loved only to be dropped the next day.

This silly tier stuff only matters on greekrank and with grandmas who are trying to convince you to be in the house that was the best when they were in college. Smart girls with self confidence aren't bothered by it. The girls really bothered are the ones who don't really have enough confidence to recognize who they really are and be proud of it.
Someone above gave the best advice. Choose a new favorite everyday from the houses you have on your list. Forget the favorite you had the day before. Keep an open mind and open heart. When you get your bid commit fully. Don't go in thinking you might change your mind because this is your only chance at greek life and you CAN be completely happy in any house. It's just a choice. The more involved you are in your house, with your pledge sisters, and with the activities your house is doing, the happier you are. Sitting in your dorm room mourning that you didn't get AXO or PM, will never make you love Theta.

That is so no the attitude to have going in. What you basically are saying is that you are better than every single girl in a bottom sorority, and that dropping to that level is beneath you. There are girls of every type in the "bottom" sororities, and you are setting yourself up for heartbreak with this mentality. Just remember that there are hundreds of girls each year that get dropped and would have jumped at the chance to be in a "bottom" sorority, don't take your chance for granted.
