Ok- say I'm an alpha phi. I live with 4 other alpha phis. We invite our pledge sisters over to come hang out the night before bid day. We text our pnm bffs who we know put chose alpha phi and invite them over to come hang with us and get to know all their new pledge sisters.
It's really not a big deal, especially if you've been super close to that pnm forever, but it's breaking the rules and like we learned this year, it's possible that one of those girls actually won't get a bid from your sorority even though she put that sorority first and you THINK/HOPE she's on your sororities first bid list.
Sometimes actives can be very wrong. But it's not like a public thing, because obviously no one knows who's in what pledge class until the bidlist comes out.
