The typical advice is not to wear a watch of any kind -- too tempting to look at the watch, which makes you seem bored. (And could also be viewed as an attempt to flaunt your Rolex.)

I wear a watch less to know the time and more as an accessory though. I don't have watches of any other brand so if I wanted to wear one it would have to be Rolex even if it was seen as flaunting. I thought y'all liked money?

Like the girl said, it comes off as rude to wear a watch during recruitment. I would not wear it no matter what brand it is, whether it's from the dollar store or it's your precious rolex.

Oh, and by the way, get over yourself. There are plenty of girls who own rolexes and cartier bracelets and other expensive stuff, and you don't see them trying to flaunt it just so they come off a certain way.

Absolutely not. You will look like the biggest dbag. Actually it might make aphi, zeta, and phi mu like you, only because they're fake and superficial and only care about material items. Any other sorority would think you're bragging and that's a huge turn off

lol ... you must be from Texas? I swear Rolex is the Stste watch of Texas, especially in Fort Worth. I never let my mom wear her's when she comes to visit. As a Texan, I try not to be too showy. Goes over big in Texas but not here. Different mindset completely.

From California. It's kind of stupid for you to say that having a rolex equates to me being materialistic and only caring about superficial things. My parents/grandparents bought them for me as gifts. Why does having nice watches mean I only care about material things? That's a very narrow-minded perspective. You can't deny that recruitment in general is based on appearances to some degree. Don't hate me for playing the game.
